Mcboot PS3 And PS4Super Mario 64 has been ported to the Vita, PSP, PS2, PS3 and PS4 ( not to be confused with emulated ) You will need to build your own copy of the game using your own legitimately obtained N64 Rom.![]() Mcboot Update Found BreakssbreakPersonally, I remember having my parents drop me off at Toys R Us for hours at a time, just so that I could sample a little of this incredible 3D platformer on the demo-kiosk before it was officially released to the public. I will never forget when Babbages called me three days prior to the release of the Nintendo 64, and said I could come pick up my console and copy of Super Mario 64 that day. I spent countless hours mastering the controls, obtaining all 120 stars, and just enjoying the beautifully created worlds. Earlier this year ( back in April ) we detailed some of the progress that the busy dev RenRebe has made with unlocking the potential of the PlayStation 3s RSX chip and now today we have been greeted with a new video and what we can expect with this project as the developer starts to undertake the challenge of further unlocking one more component of the Ps3 hardware. The developer has alot of videos on other intresting subjects in his diverse You Tube channel ( Bits and More ). The current bounty for bringing native resolution to PSP games on the PS Vita is at 1,535.00. GE Patch Plugin may just be the start of that, which was released as version 0.1 just earlier today (and version 0.11 was just released hours ago) Currently, PSP games being ran on the Vita are actually being run through an ME (media engine) which is emulated by the Vitas CPU. As it stands, most games only run at half the resolution of actual PS Vita games, with the exception of a couple of GTA titles where full resolution has been achieved (from none other than TheFloW himself: see here ). The end goal is for the PS Vita to to emulate the GE GPU and redirect the drawing to the Vitas GPU, allowing for full native resolution. ![]()
